My heart was buried
Deep inside my soul
Like the casket buried
Deep within the soil.
My heart lay dormant
Deep inside my soul
Like the bulb lies
Deep within the soil.
My tears fell and fell
And cleansed my soul
Like raindrops nurture
Bulbs buried within the soil.
And like the bulb lying
Dormant in the soil
My heart is slowly
Blooming in my soul.
